Trainee Dental Nurse

Trainee salary based on experience

Whilst no experience is compulsory, It is advantageous if you have worked in a dental practice before in a reception or trainee dental nurse role. We are a busy Dental Practice who welcome over 100 patients per day. We are looking for a part time receptionist to be on the front desk with two other work colleagues to provide a first class patient experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Greeting all patients at point of contact and answering queries
  • Face to face contact for all Patient enquiries
  • Use internal computer software package for all patient records
  • Answering the telephone calls.
  • Diary management – arranging, rearranging appointments as appropriate
  • Produce administration with regards to patient letters.
  • Take and relay messages
  • Direct persons to correct destination
  • Deal with queries from the public and customers
  • Ensures knowledge of staff movements in and out of practice
  • General administrative and clerical support

Qualified Dental Nurse (Orthodontic)

Salary based on length of experience and Industry qualifications

As a specialist Orthodontic practice, we provide our patients with a first class service and an exceptional experience. We are looking for a dynamic and passionate qualified dental nurse to join our expanding orthodontic specialist practice based in Croydon who support both NHS and private patients.

Our practice has built a great reputation in the surrounding areas as being a leading provider of different Orthodontic treatments. With over 50 years experience, we treat over 1500 new patients a year and we pride ourselves on service and ensure that we exceed expectations wherever possible.

We are looking for a professional nurse to join our practice. The ideal applicant will be registered with the GDC and would have completed their Radiography exams and be experienced working with a range of clinicians.

You will have great communication and customer service skills and have excellent clinical knowledge including awareness of HTM0105 and CQC requirements. You will keep up to date with CPD and want to progress within the industry.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure that each surgery is fully prepared prior to the commencement of each session.
  • Keep clinical surgeries, sterilizing areas, all equipment and instruments clean, tidy and sterile as appropriate to the practice’s health and safety and infection control procedures and manufacturers’ instructions.
  • Ensure that all equipment and machinery is used in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations and ensure they are maintained.
  • Provide chair side assistance to the Orthodontist and patient during treatment.
  • Accurately complete clinical records as directed.
