Emma began her career within dentistry as a trainee dental nurse in 2006 assisting general dentists, an endodontist, and an orthodontist. After obtaining the National Certificate for Dental Nurses qualification in 2007 and gaining more chairside experience she developed a keen interest in orthodontics. Wanting to pursue this, Emma qualified as an Orthodontic Therapist from Bristol University in 2011. Whilst obtaining ten years’ experience, she has gained a wide range of skills using a variety of orthodontic appliances treating both adults and children. Emma has attended numerous courses gaining addition skill using Invisalign and Incognito braces which have become popular methods of treatment especially with adult patients due to their inconspicuous appearance. She travelled to Florida in May 2016 to attend the American Orthodontic Conference which was set over four days. Emma has recently completed a Science-based Access to HE Diploma Course, where she studied Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths and achieved Distinctions in all four subjects.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys riding and caring for her horse, volunteering at various animal rescue centers, and socializing with friends.
